Tells you everything you need to know in an incredibly readable style, tons of color and black and white pictures of shelties, and full of useful information. There's an interesting section comparing the British and US standards for the breed (the author is British). If someone is looking for more information on Shelties this is the book to get. The only unreadable section is the part covering important North American bloodlines, which is written by someone else, and immediately bogs down in breeder-speak. The best sheltie book I've read so far.
